The
Friends of Springfield Town Library Annual Meeting will convene Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 6:30 pm. Following a brief
business meeting, Mark Breen will present "A Tour of the Solar
System."
Mark Breen, senior meteorologist and
planetarium director at the Fairbanks Museum and a familiar voice on Vermont
Public Radio’s Eye On the Sky will explore milestones in space travel ~ the
“baby step” to the moon ~ Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 spacecraft explorations ~ the
exploration of Mars and the journey in progress to Pluto.
