Learn More About Vermont's Libraries

Vermont Library Association, Vermont School Library Association and Vermont Department of Libraries have created a website and three short web videos where you can learn more about Vermont Public Libraries: http://www.vermontlibraries.org/mylibrary/ As the website and videos say: "Vermont Libraries can take you anywhere."

Interactive Legal Forms Available for Vermont Family Court

The Vermont Judiciary and Legal Services Law Line of Vermont (800-639-8857) have recently launched a new interactive program to help self represented litigants fill out Vermont Family Court forms. Forms are currently available to:



  • Start a Divorce, Civil Union Dissolution or Legal Separation

  • Respond to a Compliant for Divorce, Civil Union Dissolution or Legal Separation

  • Start a Parentage Case

  • Prepare a Motion to Enforce Child Support

  • Prepare a Motion to Modify Child Support

  • Fill out an Income and Expenses Affidavit Part A (Form 813A)

  • Fill out an Income and Expenses Affidavit Part B (Form 813B)

Friends of the Springfield Town Library Annual Meeting Wednesday, April 6th @ 7:00 pm


Come see what the Friends of the Library have been up to and also learn about Russell Porter (1871-1949) and his Garden Telescope with special guest biographer, Bert Willard. Bert is a long-time member of the Springfield Telescope Makers and is also the curator of the Hartness-Porter Museum of Amateur Telescope Making at the Hartness House Inn. Bert will discuss one of Springfield's most interesting citizens, using photograph's of Porter's work. He will also display the Porter Garden Telescope, one of only 16 known to exist today. Everyone is invited to attend!
